Dialogue Script – I guess I just need to chill out for a while

Barry: Do you feel like going out tonight?
Tiffany: I don’t know, I guess I’d rather stay home. I’m really tired.
Barry: Ok, we can order pizza if you like.
Tiffany: Good idea, I’m not in the mood for cooking either.
Barry: Good! So, how are things at work? You sounded worried when I talked to you on the phone this morning.
Tiffany: I am a little worried! We’re behind schedule with our current project and we may need to work overtime if we are to finish it on time.
Barry: I see. Didn’t you tell me the other day that your department is short-staffed?
Tiffany: It is. HR has been trying to find someone qualified but it hasn’t been easy. Actually we need two new employees since Maggy will be going on maternity leave in a couple of weeks.
Barry: I hope they can find some new people soon. I hate to see you feeling stressed like this.
Tiffany: It’s okay Barry, I’d rather not talk about this subject anymore. I guess I just need to chill out for a while.
Barry: Sure, I have a bottle of your favorite white wine in the freezer. Do you want me to get you a glass?
Tiffany: I’d love that honey. Thanks!
